Do you want to learn more about the art of macramé?
At Open Mag Lisboa you’ll have the opportunity to clarify all of your questions, while doing macramé in the company of the Bored Bearded Man. He’s going to have a space entirely dedicated to his craft on both days.
Learn the basics from which all macramé pieces are built, from the simplest to the most complex, while contributing to what is going to be a very special piece.
In this edition, all visitors will be invited to build part of a big macramé wall hanging.
At the end of the event, this collaborative piece will be part of the Greatest Goodie Bag in the World!
Anthony of Lisbon, was a Portuguese Catholic priest and friar of the Franciscan Order. He was born and raised by a wealthy family in Lisbon, Portugal, and died in Padua, Italy. Noted by his contemporaries for his powerful preaching, expert knowledge of scripture, and undying love and devotion to the poor and the sick, he was one of the most quickly canonized saints in church history. He was proclaimed a Doctor of the Church on 16 January 1946. He is also the patron saint of lost things.
